In 1975 Mr. and Mrs. Edward P. Johnson bought into the ROTO-ROOTER franchise. At the time they were successfully running the Johnson Truck Sales lot in Easton, Maryland. The Johnsons like many other Americans had the dream of expanding their ownership of different companies to help support their growing family. They continued to work hard, and then unfortunately the property they were operating their truck sales on was sold. Undeterred, the Johnsons decided to utilize their opportunity and push forward with creating ROTO-ROOTER of Delmarva. The ROTO-ROOTER Corporation representatives made their way to Talbot County and signed what would later become the best owned and operated franchise on the Eastern Shore.
